(Columbia, SC) -- Making Five Points safer will require what Columbia's police chief calls a shared responsibility.
Chief Skip Holbrook was part of a public forum this week to discuss crime in the popular nightclub area.
While crime has been going down in recent years, there are still problems, and Holbrook blames them on bars who over serve underage drinkers.
Bar owners tell WACH Fox they don't have the manpower to monitor everyone, but they welcome the extra police presence in the area.
