(Lexington, SC) -- The state's education leader will be back at her regular job today after a brief return to the classroom.
State Schools Superintendent Molly Spearman filled in as a substitute teacher yesterday in Lexington District One.
While thousands of teachers around the state rallied at the statehouse for education reform, Spearman taught music classes at Midway Elementary School and took part in after-school duties.
ABC Columbia reports she was at the school from 6:30 in the morning until 3:15 in the afternoon.
