(Columbia, SC) -- Even though she did not cause it, a woman is behind bars for a crash that hurt a child in Richland County.
Chelsea Skrzypczak was jailed yesterday after she was released from the hospital following the weekend crash.
While the 27-year-old is not accused of causing the two-car crash on Leesburg Road, Columbia police say she was under the influence of drugs at the time and may have been overdosing.
Her eight-year-old passenger is still in the hospital as is the driver accused of causing the head-on crash.
