We are learning more about the three people killed in a head-on collision on I-26 in Orangeburg County this week.
Those killed were a father and his 11 and 14 year old daughters from North Carolina. The mother and her son survived but were badly hurt and are still hospitalized.
The Highway Patrol says a tractor trailer crossed over into the oncoming lanes and hit the van that the family was in. The family was on their way home from a funeral in Florida when they were hit. The accident is still under investigation.
