(Columbia, SC) -- Some coastal residents are urged to get out ahead of Hurricane Dorian.
Governor Henry McMaster issued an evacuation order yesterday for parts of Colleton, Beaufort, Jasper, Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley, Horry and Georgetown counties.
Evacuations must take place no later than noon today, and you can visit SCEMD.org to see if your area is affected. McMaster also issued a mandatory evacuation for DHEC-regulated health care facilities in the evacuation zones.
