(Columbia, SC) -- Records show politics apparently played a role in the vote on a new USC president.
The school yesterday released emails between board members ahead of the vote to name Robert Caslen as president two months ago.
One board member allegedly wrote the radical left was trying to control all conservatives at USC and other campuses.
Another board member promised the school will get a great president, but it certainly won't be a liberal.
