(Charleston, SC) -- A former state official and reality TV star won't have to go to prison for sex assault.
Documents filed in Charleston County yesterday reveal that Thomas Ravenel pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and paid a 500 dollar fine.
A former nanny made the accusation against the former state treasurer four years ago.
Ravenel was also a cast member on the Bravo reality show Southern Charm before his arrest.
