Alabama is the new number-one team in the country.
Clemson dropped to second in this week's polls after narrowly escaping with a 21-20 win at North Carolina over the weekend. The Tigers became the first number one team to drop in the AP poll after a win since Ohio State in 2015. Georgia remained third in both polls--the Bulldogs host the Gamecocks October 12.
