(Richland County, SC) -- The Richland County Sheriff's Department is clarifying what happened at the South Carolina State Fair.
Officials say there was no gunfire at the fair, despite it closing early Saturday night.
People were reportedly running around saying there had been a shooting, which caused a panicked situation.
Some fairgoers had bumps and bruises after hurrying to leave, but no serious injuries were reported.
