(Irmo, SC) -- Police are releasing more details about the arrest of an Irmo Middle School substitute teacher.
Kari Ellington was taken into custody Friday for alleged illegal activity at her previous job.
Lexington-Richland Five officials say the accusations do not stem from any of her work at the Irmo school.
Court documents say she defrauded a business of 20-thousand dollars by manipulating checks before being fired in July.
