(Columbia, SC) -- New Year's Eve preparations are underway in downtown Columbia.
Crews began setting up yesterday for the Famously Hot New Year's Celebration. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. tonight for the show headlined by Salt n Pepa.
It includes a countdown to midnight and fireworks to ring in 2020.
