(Greenville, SC) -- Prisma Health is laying off more than three hundred employees in a streamlining effort.
Employees were notified of the cuts on Thursday. CEO Mark O'Halla cited lower reimbursements and an increased number of uninsured or under-insured patients across the healthcare industry in a release.
In addition to the most recent 327 jobs being cut, another 200 were eliminated back in October.
