(Columbia, SC) -- The Governor of South Carolina hopes to focus on education as a top goal in 2020.
Governor Henry McMaster gave his State of the State address to a joint session of the General Assembly last night.
He spoke about education after the unveiling of his Executive Budget plan last week.
That showed he wants to set aside money to pay teacher raises and expand full-day preschool across the state.
