(Columbia, SC) -- A 17-year-old is being charged with punching a teacher at Westwood High School.
The teacher reportedly took a student into the hallway to have a conversation after the student allegedly cursed at her in class yesterday afternoon.
Richland County deputies say the student hit the teacher in the face with a closed fist. The student faces charges of assault and battery.
