(Sumter, SC) -- A man is facing five counts of attempted murder after allegedly firing shots into a crowd.
The incident happened at a business in the 1300-block of Peach Orchard Road in Sumter County. Twenty-nine-year-old Jerel Marquis Heriot is accused of firing a handgun there on February 2nd.
One person was injured and several vehicles were damaged by the gunfire.
