(Charleston, SC) -- A new poll shows a tight race for the Democratic presidential candidates ahead of the South Carolina primary.
An NBC News/Marist poll puts former Vice President Joe Biden in the lead, polling at 27-percent. Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who is the Democratic front-runner nationally, polled at 24-percent.
Experts say the race to win the Palmetto State could be even closer than the poll indicates.
