(Clemson, SC) -- A new Clemson University Palmetto Poll puts former Vice
President Joe Biden in the lead ahead of the South Carolina Democratic presidential primary.
Yesterday's new data shows Biden receiving 35 percent of the poll's respondents. Tom Steyer came in second place with 17 percent.
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders came in third with 13 percent support, according to the poll.
An ECU Poll also released yesterday shows a tighter race with the former VP up by 8 points with Sanders in second place.
