(Lexington, SC) -- The first coronavirus-related death is reported in South Carolina.
The patient was an elderly person who was a resident of Lexington Medical Center Extended Care Skilled Nursing Facility.
Officials are working to determine anyone the person had contact with to try and minimize spread.
There were also five more cases announced yesterday, bringing the state's total to 33.
