Public schools across South Carolina will remain closed for the rest of the academic year.
Governor Henry McMaster and Education Chief Molly Spearman made that announcement today.Schools which were originally ordered to remain closed through the end of April, will now wrap up the year instructing students online.
A survey of local school district Superintendents earlier this week showed a majority supported keeping schools closed.
