(Greenville, SC) -- Governor McMaster is announcing a new grant program to help families pay for private school tuition in South Carolina.
The Safe Access to Flexible Education Grants will be available for those sending their kids to an independent school in the 2020-21 school year.
The governor wants to use 32-million dollars from the Governor's Emergency Education Relief fund for the grants. He made the announcement at Hampton park Christian School in Greenville yesterday.
