(Columbia, SC) -- Seven South Carolina counties are now downgraded to a medium coronavirus activity level.
Lexington, Greenville, Horry, Marion, Oconee, Pickens, and Spartanburg were all part of the downgrade.
This comes as the state's number of COVID-19 cases has been on the decline. There were over 15-thousand cases reported during the week of July 12th, compared to just over 58-hundred the week of August 9th.
