(Washington, DC) -- South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott says 2020 has tested the U.S. in ways that have not been seen in decades.
Scott told the Republican National Convention that this year's presidential election is about the promise of America and dealing with challenges, heartbreaks, hopes and dreams.
Scott said President Trump has earned re-election with a solid record of accomplishment. He criticized Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's record after nearly 50 years in public life.
Scott is the lone Republican African American in the Senate.
