(Columbia, SC) -- The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control will soon provide new reports on coronavirus cases at schools.
Starting this Friday, the twice-weekly data will include cumulative and rolling 30-day counts for cases of COVID-19 at public and private schools in the state.
Though it will include information about students, faculty, and staff with the virus...this does not mean those who test positive contracted it at school.
Data about college students will not be included in the new reports.
