(Columbia, SC) -- The White House is involved in an effort to get more people tested for the coronavirus in South Carolina.
Deborah Birx coordinates the White House's coronavirus response, and she was at USC yesterday to discuss the arrival of a 'surge testing team.' The team will arrive by the end of next week to expand testing to see how widespread the virus may be.
Birx also praised USC officials for what she calls a dynamic plan to fight the virus, and she said she'll share the details of that plan, including on-demand saliva testing, with other colleges.
