(Lexington County, SC) -- A family is settling their lawsuit against Lexington County School District One.
Fourteen-year-old Lewis Simpkins died after collapsing on a River Bluff High School football field in 2016.
The lawsuit was filed two years after his death and is now fully settled using alternate dispute resolution.
A settlement amount has not been publicly released.
