(Columbia, SC) -- State health officials say South Carolina recorded another 524 confirmed cases of COVID-19 while they're warning the state could see another surge of cases this fall.
Officials yesterday also reported the state's lowest testing total in more than a month, a little more than 2,900 individual test results.
It's the first time in a month that the testing total has dropped below 3,000.
Officials say the new numbers indicate the virus continues to spread throughout the community.
