(Columbia, SC) -- DHEC announced 1,243 cases of COVID-19 yesterday.
That brings the total number of coronavirus cases in the Palmetto State to 179,832 since the pandemic began.
Eight more deaths were reported, bringing South Carolina's confirmed COVID-19 death toll to 3,817.
