(Lexington, SC) -- The Lexington One School District community is mourning after a third grade teacher died from COVID-19.
Fifty-year-old Staci Blakely fell victim to COVID-19 complications on Saturday night. She had been teaching in Lexington since 1999.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday at the First Calvary Baptist Church in Leesville.
