(Kershaw County, SC) -- One person is dead after a school bus and tractor-trailer collided in Kershaw County.
It happened on Highway 1 near Dogwood Lane round 2:30 yesterday afternoon. The tractor-trailer was slowing down when it jackknifed and went into oncoming traffic, hitting a school bus.
Fifty-one-year-old Wiggerson Gibbons Junior was thrown from the tractor-trailer and pronounced dead at the scene. The school bus driver had minor injuries.
