(Columbia, SC) -- The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 2,023 new cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 243,583 since the pandemic began.
DHEC also reported 39 more deaths, for a state total of 4,484. DHEC says the majority of those deaths happened between December 11th and 14th, but four of the deaths date back to the end of November and beginning of December.
