(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina is setting a new high for the percent positive of COVID-19 tests.
The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 3,492 new cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 299,685 since the pandemic began.
DHEC also reported 15 more deaths, for a state total of 5,056.
Of the over 10,000 most recent test results, 33.3 percent were reported positive.
