(Columbia, SC) -- The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 1,993 new cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 381,812 since the pandemic began.
An additional 24 confirmed COVID deaths were also reported yesterday, putting the state's death toll at 5,944.
Of the over 9,100 tests recently reported, the percent positive rate was 21.7-percent.
