(Columbia, SC) -- The number of new Coronavirus cases in our state continues to decline.
The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 1,109 new cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 427,763 since the pandemic began.
An additional 31 confirmed COVID deaths were also reported yesterday, putting the state's death toll at 7,180.
DHEC says the deaths happened from January 1st to February 11th.
