(Columbia, SC) -- A South Carolina bill that would make it illegal for drivers to go too slow in the left lane in advancing.
The measure was passed 108 to zero in the House late last week. If it becomes law, it would mean drivers could be ticketed for staying in the left lane if they should know they are going to be overtaken by a faster vehicle and can change lanes safely.
Those who don't obey the rule would face a 200-dollar fine or 30 days in jail.
