(Columbia, SC) -- Some South Carolina lawmakers want Governor McMaster to ban COVID-19 vaccine passports.
This comes after Florida Governor DeSantis signed an executive order prohibiting the use of a vaccine passport system.
Republican lawmakers in the Palmetto state wrote McMaster a letter, saying vaccine passports are a threat to personal liberty and medical privacy.
The effort is led by Representative Nancy Mace, with the letter signed by South Carolina Republican Representatives Jeff Duncan, Ralph Norman, Joe Wilson, and William Timmons.
