A soldier in training at Fort Jackson is in custody after hijacking a school bus at gunpoint.
Twenty-three-year-old Jovan Collazo of New Jersey pointed a rifle at the bus driver Thursday morning before taking the wheel with 18 children from Forest Lake Elementary on board. No one was hurt in the incident, and Fort Jackson officials say the trainee's rifle was not loaded.
Collazo is facing a slew of charges, including 19 counts of kidnapping.
