(Orangeburg County, SC) -- South Carolina State is clearing account balances for over 25-hundred continuing students.
This marks the first major executive decision from Acting President Alexander Conyers.
The decision is providing relief to students who were previously unable to return to class due to financial hardship.
The university is using nearly ten-million dollars in federal aid, four-million dollars from Cares Act funds, and additional money from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
