The University of South Carolina will require face masks in campus buildings.
The announcement came Friday following a spike in coronavirus cases in the state. The Interim President says the requirements will be relaxed as soon as conditions allow.
Masks will not be required outdoors, in students' residence hall rooms, or while eating in campus dining facilities.
