(Hampton County, SC) -- Alex Murdaugh is resigning from his law firm after being shot in Hampton County over the weekend. Murdaugh released a statement Monday saying he will be entering rehab.
This follows the shooting deaths of his wife and son in June. SLED is still investigating both incidents.
The State Newspaper reports that Murdaugh has been accused of taking money from the law firm. One source told the paper the amount exceeded $1 million.
