(Columbia, SC) -- Two pedestrians were killed in separate accidents over the weekend in downtown Columbia.
The latest happened early yesterday morning in the 16-hundred-block of Assembly Street when police say a man stepped off the curb and was hit by a passing motorist.
Another pedestrian was killed Saturday night near Williams-Brice Stadium. There's no word on the drivers involved in either of these cases.
So far, 118 pedestrians have been killed in traffic accidents in South Carolina this year.
