(Ladson, SC) -- The United States Geological Survey confirms two earthquakes hit South Carolina on Monday.
The first was a 2.8 magnitude quake reported in the Ridgeland and Summerville area.
The second hit northwest of Shell Point and Charleston near Ladson. It was first classified as a 2.9 magnitude but later upgraded to 3.3.
