(Lexington, SC) -- A student in Lexington is facing criminal charges after allegedly bringing a loaded gun to school.
It happened at Carolina Springs Middle School this week. The district says the student has been suspended from school and will be recommended for expulsion.
He has been released to the custody of his parents and will appear in Lexington County Family Court at a later date on a charge of carrying a weapon on school property.
