(York, SC) -- The assets of attorney Alex Murdaugh and son Buster are in receivership.
Yesterday Circuit Judge Daniel Hall appointed receivers to review all of the Murdaugh's finances. Alex Murdaugh faces several lawsuits including a suit filed by the family of Mallory Beach who died in a boating accident in 2019.
Murdaugh's late son Paul was underage and allegedly the pilot of the vessel involved in the accident.
Beach family attorney Mark Tinsley claims Murdaugh is hiding millions of dollars from legal scrutiny with the help of his surviving son, Buster.
