(Columbia, SC) -- Dozens of South Carolina lawmakers are pre-filing a bill this morning to keep vaccination status private.
Over 40 state legislators are co-sponsoring the Vaccination Rights Act.
This comes as an OSHA policy takes effect January 4th requiring employers with 100 or more workers to mandate vaccination against COVID-19 or have employees regularly tested.
Still, the bill being pre-filed today would not apply to federal employees.
