(Columbia, SC) -- A high school student in Columbia is facing charges after allegedly bringing a gun to school.
Several posts made November 5th showed evidence of a gun at Spring Valley High School.
Deputies searched the student, but did not find the weapon. It is unclear where it was, but the student was charged with breach of peace of a high and aggravated nature and carrying a firearm on school grounds.
The student was taken to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center's Juvenile section.
