SLED investigators are releasing the 911 call reporting Gloria Satterfield's fall at the Murdaugh family Colleton County home in 2018.
The caller identified herself as Maggie and says Satterfield fell on the brick stairs and was bleeding. She later died at Trident Medical Center and her death was ruled a trip and fall accident. Authorities began looking into the death in September of 2021 as one of several ongoing investigations tied to the Murdaugh family.
