(Columbia, SC) - Debate will continue at the State House today over a medical marijuana bill.
On Tuesday, South Carolina lawmakers debated the legalization effort for almost eight hours, with over 40 amendments proposed to the bill.
If it became law, the measure would only legalize medical marijuana for people who were diagnosed with one of 13 medical conditions during an in-person doctor visit.
If approved in the Senate, it will next head to the House.
