(Columbia, SC) - South Carolina lawmakers are considering a tax cut plan that would send rebates directly to taxpayers.
The Senate Finance Committee will consider the bill today before it advances to the Senate floor.
It could be changed by the committee, but the current bill allows for a maximum rebate of 700-dollars depending on how much people pay in state income taxes.
The proposal also drops the state's top two income tax rates and reduces the manufacturer's property tax.
