(Richland County, SC) -- An investigation is underway after Richland County deputies were involved in a deadly officer-involved shooting.
Deputies were responding to a domestic call involving a weapon when someone got into an altercation with them.
Thirty-four-year-old Irvin Moorer-Charley died after being shot by a deputy.
Sheriff Leon Lott says the Moorer-Charley did not listen to multiple commands to drop the weapon and a taser was deployed unsuccessfully before the shooting happened.
