(Columbia, SC) - Prisma Health Midlands is reaching a settlement with the Department of Justice and Drug Enforcement Administration.
The company was accused of record keeping and dispensing violations.
Two Prisma patients were arrested in 2018 on drug distribution charges and allegedly got some of the drugs through Prisma pharmacies.
Now Prisma Health will pay one-million dollars in the largest settlement of its kind in South Carolina.
